they also held a presscon at the Manila Hotel last Sept 9, 2010 with Lee Nayoung and the director

afterwards, rain had a concert on Sept 11 at MOA with U-kiss and Christian Bautista.

damn!! i knew rain was coming here.. but i wasn't sure about daniel henney coming here until the news came out!!! double damn!! these are times when i need to be watching more tv!!! last friday, it was a holiday and i was actually joking with my brother that i want to go to Manila Hotel and stalk Rain... if i had known that Daniel was also there.. i would have gone there.. no hesitations at all!! to think that danny was only a few km away from me.. and i missed him!!! argh!!

here are more pics of danny and rain during the presscon!! too bad i missed this!!!!

he looked sooo handsome!!!

agent zero vs ninja assassin?

Daniel Henney joins the cast of Fugitive

Already flaunting its mega-scale cast list—consisted of Rain,Lee Na Young and more—newly developing series Fugitivehas added yet another hot actor on its roster.
It’s been confirmed that our favorite Korean-American actor/model, Daniel Henney has been cast for a role of an antagonist in the movie.
Although his character is yet to be revealed in further details, it’s been said that he will act as an obstacle between the love relationship between Jinee (Lee Na Young) and Jiwoo (Rain). Lee Jung Jin is the other actor confirmed for the drama.
Especially with his recent portrayal of Agent Zero in X-Men Origins: Wolverine, his participation in Fugitive is much anticipated. This will be his return after a four year long hiatus from the Korean drama industry. Filming is currently underway.
* woot woot!! i'm so excited!! Daniel's back in Korea doing a korean drama! i just hope the drama lives up to the hype. and i hope Daniel will have a purely Korean script -- to shut everyone's mouth from criticising him that he can't speak korean. and back to the question.. Rain or Daniel Henney? of course my answer is Danny hands down.. but he's the antagonist so he'll lose.. but that's okay. Rain can get Lee Na Young anytime..

daniel henney has no time to date

I think this article is a bit old since it still mentions Three Rivers, but still an insightful read about Daniel Henney.

WITH his towering 1.88m frame and chiselled good looks that make women go weak in the knees, you'd expect Daniel Henney to be an expert in the field of dating.

But the 30-year-old model-turned-actor - born in the US to an ethnic Korean mother and American father of British descent - is no Casanova, or so he claims.

And it all boils down to his hectic schedule.

In a phone interview with The New Paper to promote his new US television series Three Rivers, Henney lamented: 'I don't date a lot of women, primarily because I don't have the time to do so. If I do, I will probably go on more dates.

'I'd very much like to find that special someone in my life... it's been a while.'

The hunk, who became a household name in Asia after snagging a meaty role in the 2005 Korean comedy series My Lovely Sam Soon, revealed candidly that he has been unattached 'for three to four years'.

He broke up with his last serious girlfriend after he started working actively in Korea.

If he had the time, what sort of girl would he date?

Henney said it would be 'someone whom I can laugh with'.

'I know it sounds like a cliche but it's about the personality; it'll be great if she has a sense of humour.'

He added that he is 'generally attracted to people who are relaxed and natural'.

Sporty gals who 'love hiking and outdoor activities' are a draw too.

'I don't like girls who put on too much make-up,' he said.

'As much as they look good dressing up, I like them when they dress casually in T-shirts and jeans.'

On Three Rivers, a US medical drama that puts the spotlight on the emotional complexities of organ donors, he plays Dr David Lee, a womanising surgical resident.

The 13-episode series, which also stars Australian actor Alex O'Loughlin and US actress Katherine Moennig, opens next Wednesday at 10pm on Sony Entertainment Television (mioTV Ch 20).

Unfortunately, the first season of Three Rivers ended its run last November in the US and the series has been cancelled.

Henney was speaking to us from Los Angeles, one of the many cities his burgeoning career has taken him to.

He is constantly on the move and that has proven to be the biggest hindrance in his bid for a stable romantic relationship.

'I'm kind of like a gypsy, never at the same place for more than couple of weeks,' the star of the 2006 Korean movie, Seducing Mr Perfect, said laughing.

'In this (entertainment) business, it's really hard to maintain a lasting relationship.

'As soon as you get comfortable with another person, you've got to tell them you have to leave the country for a few months.'

That often becomes a problem.

'Girls don't like that at all,' he said.

Prince Charming looks

With his dashing Prince Charming looks, it is no surprise that he has been romantically linked to different actresses over the years.

Henney, who made his Hollywood debut in last year's superhero flick X-Men Origins: Wolverine as the villainous Agent Zero, was reported to have dated Hawaii-born actress Maggie Q, 30, back in 2004.

Following that came his alleged courtship of his MyLovely Sam Soon co-star, 28-year-old Korean singer-actress Jung Ryeo Won.

The two have been photographed at several red carpet events together and even shared a passionate smooch for a fruit drink advertisement.

The actor has not spoken out on any of his rumoured liaisons. But one thing's for sure, his perceptions of the opposite sex have changed.

'Before the age of 18, I dated only Caucasian women,' he admitted.

'I grew up in a mainly-Caucasian area in the States (Carson City, Michigan) and hardly spoke to Asian females.

'But I've been based in Asia for 10 years and my perception has since switched 180 degrees; I'm definitely more attracted to Asian women now!'

Ironically, while he plays the non-committal, slightly cocky Don Juan-like Dr Lee on Three Rivers, he has no qualms playing second fiddle to co-star Moennig when it comes to capturing the hearts of female audiences.

Before Three Rivers, the androgynous-looking Moennig was a regular on lesbian-themed drama The L Word, which earned her a huge female fanbase.

'Not for one second do I think I'm hotter than Kate,' said Henney, chuckling.

'She's way hotter than me, she has a bunch of great tattoos and a really cool attitude.'

If he could have his way, he'd love to have his character 'hook up' with hers on the show.

Moennig plays rebellious surgical fellow Dr Miranda Foster, a colleague of Henney's Dr Lee.

At one point, the producers were exploring the idea of developing their relationship as a story arc, he said.

But it eventually failed to materialise.

'Somehow, it's still kind of taboo for doctors to hook up onscreen,' he said.

daniel henney loves cheese

Korean-American star Daniel Henney is currently starring in his own reality series “Daniel Goes to Outback”. On April 9th, the series followed him to farms that have expertise in making quality cheese in Western Australia. The sexy face of American chain, Outback Steakhouse is on a mission to find fresh ingredients for new dishes. In the show, they found that cheese and onions made all the difference.
Who knew Daniel was the domestic type? He is an actor, model and he cares about the preparation of food! He is the whole package, right ladies? Women are finally liberated from the kitchen!
During his time in the outback, Henney commended the farmers for their hard work, especially that the cheese was “delicious”.   Australian ladies, the way to Daniel’s heart is through cheese!
“Daniel Goes Outback” airs Fridays at 10:00pm on Olive TV.
*Whoo.. he really is Mr Perfect!! I have only seen one site that has videos of his show.. i better watch it before it's gone! Unfortunately, I can't download the videos (for my copy) and it doesn't have any english subs :( Oh well, I'd still happily watch it anyways even though i wouldn't understand half of what he's saying :)

can i date you?

http://www.cnngo.com/explorations/seoul-man-980485

Daniel Henney -- Seoul Man
As the hunky star of films, television dramas and commercials, Daniel Henney is an icon in Korea and beyond. Now he scrubs into a new role, playing a smooth-talking surgical resident in the American TV series Three Rivers.

Daniel Henney, who wooed a nation as the charming American physician in Korea’s 2005 TV phenomenon My Lovely Kim Sam Soon, is playing doctor once again -- this time in Hollywood.

The Michigan-born model-turned-actor makes his American small screen debut as a womanizing surgical intern on CBS’ organ transplant drama Three Rivers, which premiered on Oct. 4. He chats with CNNGo about his new life overseas.

CNNGo: You lived in Korea for six years. Why’d you decide to move back to the States?
Daniel Henney: Everything in Korea happened so fast and was so surreal. I started in a small role on a sitcom, and before I knew it, I was doing films and I don’t know -- everything was happening in the moment and I didn’t have time to think about the next month. But in the back of my mind, I always kind of hoped I would come back here. I wanted my family [who lives in Michigan] to see me in the theater. For me, that’s really rewarding.

CNNGo: Your first U.S. role was playing bad-guy Agent Zero in the summer blockbuster X-Men Origins: Wolverine. What was it like working with actor Hugh Jackman?
Daniel Henney: He’s the nicest guy I’ve ever met, the epitome of all that is good about big-time stars. He restored my faith that someone can reach the top of their game and still be a humble guy to the core. Each week, he’d spend $4,000 on lottery tickets for the whole crew. He’d go around the set, asking people, “Did you win?” He created a sense of camaraderie. I have a man-crush on Hugh, it’s ridiculous.

CNNGo: Now you’re in a show about organ transplants. How did you prepare for the role?
Daniel Henney: I sat through a heart transplant operation. A 44-year-old man had been on the waiting list for a heart and was about two weeks away from dying. Finally, they called him while he was eating breakfast one morning, saying, “We have a heart for you.” A 22-year-old kid had overdosed on heroine.

I watched everything. I watched them pry open his chest and literally rip his heart out and put the new heart in. It was the most incredible experience.

CNNGo: What’s your goal in Hollywood?
Daniel Henney: I want to establish a role model for young Asian Americans to look up to and be proud of. For me, it’s just about being a good actor. As far as being a sex symbol, I have no interest in that.

CNNGo: Are you currently dating anyone?
Henney: No, I wish I was. I think I’m gonna start. I don’t know how.

CNNGo: What do you look for in a woman?
Henney: Someone with a good sense of humor, who’s game to go out and do anything, who doesn’t mind just hanging out and drinking a beer. She has to be laidback if she’s going to date someone with a job like mine.

CNNGo: Do you consider yourself a Korean actor or an American actor?
Henney: I’m definitely a Korean actor until the day I die. Korea gave me my career. Korea is where I made my mistakes, where I had my highs, my lows. It’s where I learned the ropes. If it wasn’t for Korea, I wouldn’t be here.

Daniel Henney shows some skin - allkpop.com

Although Daniel Henney is working on Three Rivers, an upcoming medical drama on CBS, he hasn't forgotten to give his fans some eye candy in a Cosmopolitan photoshoot as they wait for October 4th to come. He sheds some clothes, revealing a toned upper half, and shows his fans his musical side as well. I'll admit Daniel Henney's definitely not disappointing in the body department but his hair I could do without.
