new theme

in preparation for my soon-to-be independence, i changed my layout to different things around the house to inspire me when i start furniture shopping! :)

pwned by a critter

funny story last night..

i was going to greenhills with my dhya to watch the adjustment bureau when my ahya asked me to buy him a hot cafe mocha at starbucks. when we finished watching the movie (good premise but bad execution - the movie ended up being shallow..so disappointing), i went starbucks to buy the coffee.

since our car did not have cup holders, i had to hold the coffee the whole ride home. through the bumps and humps, i carefully made sure that i wont spill the coffee.. we even made some detours (fetching my nephews, stopping by mercury).. so when we finally reached home, i was proud of myself for not spilling a single drop of coffee.

i went up to our house and went straight to my ahya's room. i knocked once and he immediately opened the door. then he pointed to the wall right beside me and said, "uy! may daga!" i screamed and spilled some of the coffee as the mouse scurried away from me. ACK!!!

never gonna leave this bed

such a sexy song.. wish some guy will sing this to me.. *sigh*

You push me, I don't have the strength to

Resist or control you
So take me down, take me down

You hurt me but do I deserve this?
You make me so nervous
Calm me down, calm me down

Wake you up in the middle of the night to say
I will never walk away again
I'm never gonna leave this bed

So come here and never leave this place
Perfection of your face
Slows me down, slows me down

So fall down, I need you to trust me
Go easy, don't rush me
Help me out, why don't you help me out?

Wake you up in the middle of the night to say
I will never walk away again
I'm never gonna leave this bed

So you say go, it isn't worth it
And I say no, it isn't perfect
So I stay and still
I'm never gonna leave this bed

Take it, take it all, take all that I have
I'd give it all away just to get you back
And fake it, fake it, I'll take what I can get

Knocking so loud
Can you hear me yet?
Try to stay awake
But you can't forget

Wake you up in the middle of the night to say
I will never walk away again
I'm never gonna leave this bed

You say go, it isn't worth it
And I say no, it isn't perfect
So I stay and still
I'm never gonna leave this bed

Take it, take it all
Take all that I have
Take it, take it all
Take all that I have

Take it, take it all
Take all that I have
Take it, take it all
Take all that I have
Take it, take it all
Take all that I have
Take it, take it all
Take all that I have
Take it, take it all
Take all that I have

cry for help

what do you do with a person so stubborn he won't accept anybody's words of advice?
even if it means saving his life, or making him feel better.
i know he's hurting real bad, the physical pain is starting to get to him
but no matter how hard we try to talk to him
he hears nothing.
he tries to hide the pain. he's scared of what he's feeling.
we're scared too but we can't do anything if he wont let us.
if he wont help himself.
has he given up? or does he simply dont care?
do we give up? do we stop trying?
do we just leave it to fate?
i wish someone will wake him up from a decade's slumber and lead him back to the right path.
i wish God will hear my prayers.

dreams

i'm having these jumbled dreams
and they're so mixed up
it's confusing the hell out of me.

now i'm having sleepless nights
and when morning comes,
i can hardly open my eyes to wake up.

can someone make these dreams go away?

Actor Hyun Bin joined Marines Monday

aww... so sad to see Hyun Bin go.. hope he'll be safe while in the Marines for the next 2 years!

Actor Hyun Bin joined the Marines on Monday for his military service in South Korea.
“I have received great attention and love in the year 2010 and now I have been ordered by my country (to serve in the military). I will return the love you have given me in two years and I will spend those two years well,” Hyun said in the farewell message to his fans gathered in front of the Marines Corp training base.

He also said he was grateful to those who spared time to come here to see him and promised to be back.

He will take part in a five-week training in Pohang, North Gyeongsang Province, before being posted to a unit where he will serve for the next 21 months.
Thousands of fans, including overseas fans from Japan and China, gathered in front of the Marines Corp training base in a small town of Pohang on Monday to say goodbye to their idol. About 170 domestic and foreign reporters were at the scene to report the moment Hyun joins the Marines.

Korean news channel YTN also broadcasted live from the scene.

Welcoming placards for Hyun drew media attention days before he appeared. The office of Ocheon town, where the Marine Corps training base is located, put up a placard welcoming the soon-to-be enlisted Marines, indicating the direction where fans of Hyun Bin should go to prevent chaos breaking out on the big day.
Hyun announced that he had been accepted to join the Marines in January.

He gained tremendous popularity with his role in the SBS weekend drama “Secret Garden” and built up an enormous fan base both nationwide and overseas. Two recently released movies in which Hyun starred, “Late Autumn” and “Come Rain, Come Shine” also received attention.

Hyun managed a very tight and busy schedule before he joined the Marines, finishing with an official outing at the Berlin film festival and a series of commercial shoots in late February.

Hyun’s decision to join the Marines came after the North Korea’s bombardment of Yeonpyeong Island near the West Sea border on Nov. 23.

The attack sparked anger among young South Koreans, and increased the number of applicants for the Marine Corps as a result. Applicants for other special forces such as the Underwater Demolition Team of the Navy rose after their brave rescue mission for soldiers on the Cheonan warship and hostages held by Somali pirates.

Hyun’s case is in sharp contrast to a host of actors who have been charged with draft-dodging.

GNP’s lawmaker Jeon Yeo-ok once called the actor’s decision to join the Marines an act of “noblesse oblige,” and hoped it would be a chance to change the perception of young South Koreans toward the mandatory military duty.

In Korea, all able-bodied men are required to serve in the military for about two years.

Singer Kim Dong Wan recently teased about Shinhwa’s future comeback!

Appearing on the March 1st episode of “Strong Heart“, the Shinhwa member was asked the question, “When will Shinhwa be one again?“. He responded, “We are all going to be together in 2012“.

Dong Wan explained, “We are all working hard to be able to perform on stage again soon“. The MCs were skeptical, and so they pressed, “Is it a promise or just a false hope?“.
Dong Wan smiled, “This is a promise“.
Shinhwa is the longest-running boy band in K-pop history, as they have yet to disband. Out of its six members, three are currently serving in the army.
