the real daniel

just when i thought i haven't heard much from daniel henney, i received good news this week..

three rivers is back on tv to air the remaining episodes of season 1 (yehey!)..

daniel finally joins twitter ( http://twitter.com/danielhenney) - i dont have a twitter account.. this actually made me think of opening my own twitter account just so i can follow him.. but i'm lazy.. so i just bookmarked his twitterpage and will just "follow" him

daniel opened his own youtube page ( http://www.youtube.com/DanielHenneyLIVE ) and here's his first video answering questions from his fans.. He is such a nice guy!!


i've been a fan of his Facebook page for a year now.. but it's only now that he (and Team Daniel) has officially acknowledged that it is his real account and seems like they will be actively posting news about him here (another yay!)

now i've got more ways to cyber stalk him!! hehehe!!

i've blogged about this.. i love this series..i love the characters, the stories, the gore, the sex.. this season, Bill gets kidnapped and there will be werewolves! And vampire Eric is smoking hot as ever!

Drop Dead Diva

at first i didn't like that the lead girl is fat and not pretty.. but the actress is so good i love her!! she's sassy, smart and kindhearted. The cases are interesting and it mixes courtroom drama with bits of humor, romance and fantasy. oh, and i also love the best friend, she maybe a bit dumb but she's sweet and loyal.

Royal Pains

the story is a unconventional..about an out of job doctor who moves to the Hamptons and cares for the rich people. it's also dramatic with lots of trauma but there's romance and humor... perfect recipe for the summer!

Scoundrels

The family that steals together stays together. Or at least that's Virginia Madsen's hope as she tries to keep her kids from getting thrown into jail with their father, which is hard since the entire family makes its living as small-time crooks.

Rizzoli and Isles

Nope, not a show about a bookstore – it's still another crime-fighting drama on TNT. This one is set in Boston and focuses on detective Jane Rizzoli (Angie Harmon) and her medical examiner pal Maura Isles (Sasha Alexander). Well, no one can say that TNT isn't consistent.


The Glades

We mostly watch A&E for unscripted shows like "Hoarders," but this drama has our interest slightly piqued. It's about a homicide detective in a sleepy town in Florida where people keep turning up dead. Is it wrong that we're hoping he'll run into Dexter?

indigo + olive

during my recent trip to Mumbai, my colleagues and I went to 2 really nice restaurants in the city.

first one is Indigo Restaurant in Mandlik Road, Colaba. the restaurant was located at the back of the Taj Hotel. remember last year i went to Indigo cafe? This place is the elder, sexier sister :) Tw and A ordered the same thing (sea bass + wine) while i ordered lemon grass chicken. The pics were kinda dark and blurry coz i forgot to bring my camera and had to make do with my Nokia e71.

and pecan pie tart

so which one was better? both were good. i would have said the pecan tart but i hated the taste of pecan so i'll go with the coffee souffle (though the taste of coffee was also quite strong, but at least it's a nice taste). Tw and A both chose the pecan tart though.

The next day, Tw and I went to Sunday Brunch at Olive Bar and Kitchen.. the area is in Khar (near Bandra) which reminded me a little of Quezon City. The restaurant was again hidden (had a very small sign outside and the place looked more like a house). The second floor was under renovation. Funny thing, the only time we didn't reserve a table and the place was full! Heard that celebrities also come here.

Tw and I ended up outside but the place was cool with a huge fan so it was relaxing.

we also ordered 4-5 plates of seafood kebabs (fish, calamari, prawns) but i guess we were so hungry we both forgot to take pics of the food! i probably ate 1 plate full of kebabs while Tw ate the rest! There were still a lot more food but we were content to just sit down and chat and eat kebabs. One thing we've noticed is that people in India eat late. Brunch means breakfast + lunch right? but people just started arriving around 2pm! Then at Indigo, people ate dinner around 9pm or as late as 10pm!

Next stop, is a favorite place of mine, Trishna. I've blogged about this place before and posted some pics but i'm showing you more. As usual, we ordered the Pomfret Hyderabi Tikka but this time, we chose red chili prawns.

 and of course, king crab cooked in butter, pepper and garlic!

my trip to mumbai won't be complete without going to Peshwari. the whole team had dinner one night and ordered the best food in the place.

Sidenote, we went to Mainland China, 5 Spice, Great Wall for Chinese and also went to Jamavar (the lambchops and chicken curry were really good!). What's next for me in mumbai? hm.. maybe i'll try Khyber.
