babyface

i went to resorts world this afternoon with A to watch Kaos the musical. we applied for a membership card online so when we got there, they told us we can claim the membership card inside the casino. as we went in the casino, the guard stopped us and asked me, "Ma'am, ilang taon na po kayo?" I was smiling when I said, "I'm 30." The guard didn't respond, like he was thinking if i was telling the truth or not so I repeated. "I'm 30." he still looked unconvinced so I said again ,while A and I were laughing, "I'm 30." He finally let me go and we were laughing all the way to the customer service counter.

I was wearing full makeup on, with not-so-young getup (loose off-shouldered blouse, black jeans, 3 inch black studded heels, brown Mango sling bag) but I still got mistaken for a minor! i find it funny because it's been such a long time since i got asked my age, i thought by now i would have looked mature.. so either I really will always look like a babyface or my anti-aging creams are working!!

when you're young, you hate it when people think that you're a kid, but when you're older, you relish when people mistake you for someone younger. so i'll enjoy these moments while i still can :)
